In the context of a working farm, this project converted disused farms sheds to functional, light and airy offices whilst maximising the breath-taking views across the mid-Devon countryside.
Echoes Childcare Centre
A conversion of the Hungry Fox pub in Broadclyst into a child care centre in 2012.
Thorverton Pre-school
Having obtained a grant for £120,000 from Devon County Council, Hilary designed and procured a new pre-school building on the school site in Thorverton.
Barton Place Farmshop
A conversion of a milking shed into a farmshop in Barton Place Farm, Wrefords Lane, Exeter.
Pinhoe Rd Baptist Church, Exeter (in progress)
This project has planning permission for a new foyer, commercial kitchen and cafe linking three existing halls on site. The brief is to provide a welcoming communal gathering space.
"Re-imagine Ageing"
Shortlisted from 120 UK and Irish practises in the RIBA "re-imagine ageing" competition in 2012, this design provides a creative and pragmatic response to aged care and housing in Hampshire for over 55s.
